Beyond its scientific objectives, the CASCADES Expedition places a strong emphasis on communication and public engagement. Science should be shared with everyone, starting with the communities of Greenland. Our dedicated outreach programme includes community visits before the expedition, science days held on site, and the sharing of research results after the mission.
Aboard the expedition, two journalists, an artist and a comic book writer will also be present and help share the expedition to wider audiences through different forms of storytelling. Additionally, a science communicator will be on board to run the CLASSCADES expedition’s educational programme, allowing thousands of students to discover the Arctic.
